All students must quality for enrollment with the CEC based on Minnesota State Statue entrance criteria. Criteria includes factors such as current academic performance, family/home life situation, mental health considerations, etc. All currently enrolled high school students must be referred to the CEC by their school.
Current high school students must meet with their guidance office or school administration to obtain a referral to the CEC. Students who are not an active student can contact the CEC directly to pick up an application packet.
Step 1 - Student and parent/guardian fill out the CEC application packet.
Step 2 - CEC staff review the application packet, compiling any additional information and perform a credit check.
Step 3 - A screening/orientation meeting is scheduled for the student, parent/guardian, and CEC Director
Step 4 - An advisor is assigned and a start date is selected.
As part of your enrollment you will be asked to fill out the following forms. These can be done ahead of time and included with your completed application packet.
